He is survived by: his children, Pablo Nieves, Jr. (Stephanie), Valerie Barber (Bruce) and Vonda Williams (Dennis); and his stepchildren, Russell Chester, Kaye Snyder (John) and Faye Burnett. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
