He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Howlett and Velva Howlett of Belle Fourche; his sister Karen; his children, Travis and Darcy; his aunts, Betty Ann Carlson and Vera Moreen; his uncle Henry Carlson, Jr.; his cousin Olin; and his granddaughters, Alannah of Rainier, OR and Carina of Seldon.
He is survived by: his aunt Eleanor Carlson of Sioux Falls; his sister-in-law Shirley Nielsen of Everson, WA; his friend Pam Johnson of Sioux Falls; and also Bauman. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
