“I was sorry to hear of Gerrit,s passing, with his guick warm smile, he would light up any room he was in. The Sterk family grew up in my lifelong church, the Lynden FRC, it is with sadness and prayers for his family, that I make these comments. Often me & Gerrit & Claudette's paths would cross in the Lynden Sr Center when Claudette would share her music with Gerrit proudly beaming on the sidelines. Or chance meetings in the HWY544 restaurant and be greeted with a big smile! Gerrit Kuiken”
