He was predeceased by: his father Albert Verkist. He is survived by: his mother Emma Verkist; his wife Lori Verkist; his children, Jamie Verkist and Jennifer Martin (Andrew); his grandsons, Austin and Tyler Martin; and his sisters, Kathleen Dillard (David) and Patricia Sperry (Les). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Wiggins Barn (402 Park Dr, Everson, WA 98247).
