He was predeceased by: his wife Bette Grove; and his children, Beverly King, Jerry Oliver, Nat Oliver and Shorty Oliver.
He is survived by: his children, John Grove, Ron Grove, Gus Oliver and Sharon Oliver; and his grandchildren, Jeff Grove, Lisa Martinez, Kelly Baker-Devins, Shonna Stroud, Stephanie Loveless, Shira Zinkand, Bobby Cohen, Hy Cohen, Seyder Riascos, Mia Riascos, Aaron Oliver, Selena Oliver, Mica Oliver, Mitchell Oliver, Jennifer Oliver and Kevin Oliver. He is also survived by his great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Disabled Veterans, honoring a cause close to his heart.
