He was predeceased by: his brothers, Phyllip, Joseph, Dennis, David and Michael Hicks; his siblings-in-law, Karen, Bob Shofstall and Bob Wahlstrom; and his parents, Harold Hicks and Betty Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, Christine Cook (Andrew) and Philip Hicks (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Jasmine, Sydney Hicks, Nate and Joshua Cook.
