He was predeceased by: his parents, Newt Waldrop and Gladys Waldrop; his former wife Marilyn Kay; his sons, Jeffrey and Rodney; and his sister Virginia Twedt.

He is survived by: his wife Kay Kibbey; his children, Daniel Waldrop (Nell), Cyndi Lee (Doug) and Kevin Waldrop (Heidi); his grandchildren, Jared Waldrop, Johnathan Waldrop, Jordan Lee, Jeffrey Lee, Carly Sheldon and Kaytlin Waldrop; and his niece Jo Ann Clark.

The family requests that memorial donations be made online at glceverett.org to Gospel Light Church Memorial Fund to honor Pastor Newton Waldrop.
