He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Swenson and Nellie Swenson; his wife JoAnn; and his siblings, Alice Bauer, Marilyn Hanson, Jean Ann Hetletvedt, Lloyd and George Swenson.

He is survived by: his great grandchild Aiyla; his son Allen; his daughter-in-law Mary Swenson; his grandchildren, Craig Swenson (Emily), Keith Swenson and Kayla Cain (Rob); and his great grandchildren, Ailya and Magnolia Swenson. He is also survived by several brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws as well as many nieces and nephews.
