Lavonne Maas Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lavonne Maas in Everett, Washington, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend John Maas; her siblings, Wallace Niewenhuis (Mindy), Calvin Niewenhuis (Ethel), Dale Niewenhuis (Fran) and Edith Dejong (Bert); and her siblings-in-law, Joe Maas (Mildred), Ted Maas (Althea), Harold Maas, Florence Nymeyer (Elmer) and Jeanette Bergakker (Lawrence).

She is survived by: her children, Mark Maas (Ann) of Grand Haven, Mary Hayward (Richard) of Clarkston, WA, Joel Maas (Sandy) of Zeeland and Paul Maas (Julie) of West Olive; her brothers, Kenneth Niewenhuis (Juella) and Bob Niewenhuis (Faith); and her sister-in-law Dorothy DeHaan (Roger). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
