He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis. He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine Carbone Rogers (Ken), Carol Carbone, Carmen Andonian (Michael) and Christine DeBell (Jeff); and his son-in-law Chris Jellison. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
He was a member of the first board of directors of what is now the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound. Today, the Foundation holds over 100 separate funds, serves three counties, and has awarded more than $23 million in grants and scholarships.
