He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Denney and Grace Denney; his father-in-law Albert Krest of Castlegar, B. C.; his daughter Leah Reed; his son-in-law John Reed; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Hidlebaugh.
He is survived by: his friend Bill Schumaker; his former wife June Patburg of Echo Valley; his friend Brian Childers; his wife Doris; his son Dale Denney (Tara) of Colville; his brothers-in-law, Darcy Krest (Ericka) of Warfield, B. C. and Doug Hidlebaugh of Kelowna, B. C.; his grandchildren, Curtis Denney of Port Angeles, Mindy Merrill (Joe) of Colville, Michelle Perry (Kyle) of Port Angeles, Brian Denney of Wallace, ID and Shelby Williams (Josh) of Madison, WI; his great grandchildren, Matthew Perry, Brooke Merrill and Ethan Perry; and his niece Rebecka Hidlebaugh.
