He was predeceased by: his parents, Rhoda Patterson and Vernon "Pat" Patterson; and his sister Thalia Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Lea Patterson; and his sister Stephanie Bauer. He is also survived by 9 children, 19 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 4 nieces, and many more friends.
