He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrvin Dimmitt and Marguerite Dimmitt. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Benish; his sons, Rob (Linda) of Montana and Shane Dimmitt; his sisters, Irene Rawson of Idaho and Lorence Dimmitt of Seattle; and his grandson Matt Dimmitt. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the local chapter of AA, Wounded Wariors or Brothers in Arms.
