She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Richards and Elva Richards; her husband Charles Wayne Heisserman; her children, Charles Kerry, Haussernot (Francoise), Jeff Heisserman (Mary), Marla Economou (Chris) and Tamara Preston (David); her grandchildren, Amie, Tasha (Angelo), Pete, Nick, Cecile, Josh, Ellie and Hannah; her brother Milton Richards (Shirley); and her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Bastrom, Maxine Helser and Marlene Tingelstad (Carl). She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
