She was predeceased by: her parents, Toichiro Ishikawa and Yoko Ishikawa; her husband Edward; her brother Akira Ishikawa; and her grandson Christopher Brown.
She is survived by: her brother Hiroshi Ishikawa (Naoko); her children, Marilyn Jean Anderson (Martin Birnie), Daniel Butler (Linda Hansen) and Ramona Thimgan (Tom); and her granddaughters, Shauna Brown and Sydney Anderson. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and four step grandchildren.
