She is survived by: her son Chris (Grace); her grandchildren, Oscar and Griffin; her daughter Lisa (Cory); her grandchildren, Blake, Lou and Abe; her sister Patti Poe; her brother-in-law Tom; and her nieces and nephews, Sara Hardersen, Kristin Hollenbeck, Jenny Binetti and TJ Poe.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Franciscan Hospice, Hospice House in Karen's honor.
