He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Curtis Eugene and Effie Mildred Strous; his wife Mary Rogers; his children, Deborah Strous-Boyd, Rebecca Mermod (Leonard), Julia Hyres (David), Jennifer DeRosa (James) and Peter Strous (Karen); his brother Richard Strous (Dolores); his grandchildren, Dr. Alexander Hyres (Kristy), Nathan Hyres (Samantha), Andrew DeRosa, Heather Hernandez (Manuel), Benjamin Strous, Katie Strous and Kirsten Strous; his great grandchildren, Elodie Hyres and Lucia Hyres; and his brother Curtis Eugene Strous (Shirley).
