He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin and Esma Mary Melinda Stevens (Bowen); and his siblings, Frank, Curtis, Oren, Russell, Leon Stevens and Virginia Berry.
He is survived by: his sister Cora Smith; his wife Carol Ann Murray; his children, Cheri Rakevich (Randy) and Jeff Stevens (Angie); and his grandchildren, Shelby Carter, Kaitlin Stevens, Lukas Stevens and Riley Rakevich. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
