He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anthony Kay and Ruth Ann Choate (Joiner); his former wife Sherry Ellen Ward; his wife Sherry E. Choate of Elma; his sons, Anthony Jr. of Elma, Ernest of Elma and Wayne Choate of Elma; his daughter-in-law Kate Choate of Aberdeen; his siblings, Troy Choate of Oregon, Deborah Cole of Packwood and Bobbye Choate of Elma; and his granddaughters, Vivian, Violet and Ellen. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
