We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2024, at the age of 76, Steven Roy Douglas of Ellensburg, Washington, born in Salem, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Orin and Ella Douglas (Sturdevant); and his grandson Austin Allen. He is survived by: his wife Betty Stevens; his brother Don Douglas; his sons, Steve Douglas (Christina) of West Virginia and Dave Douglas (Crista) of Ellensburg; and his grandchildren, Ashlee Goos Douglas, David Douglas, Andrew Douglas, Samantha Boyer (EJ), Ryan Logsdon and Ethan Logsdon. He is also survived by three great-granddaughters.

Memorial contributions in Steve's honor are suggested to the Ellensburg First Christian Church, the Alvord Brain Tumor Center at the UW Medical Center, or to the Oncology Department at Wenatchee Confluence Health.

“I first met Steve more that 30 years ago through his involvement in a local Boy Scout Troop. Steve was a Scoutmaster and role model for many young men over the years. It was joy to spend time with Steve camping out, shooting, running Bloomsday and staying connected over all these years. My sympathies to the family, especially Betty. Steve will be sorely missed, but we know he lived a full and glorious life and is now at rest in Heaven.”
