He was predeceased by: his siblings, Warren Smith, Byron Smith and Doris Hotchkiss; his son Monty Smith; and his great grandchild Liam Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Perry Smith, Camie Hedrick (Shawn) and Tracy Smith; and his daughter-in-law Wendy Smith. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
