She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Sparks and Florence Pinkard; and her husband Erick Gidlund. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Mandersloot (Gerard), Keith Gidlund and Ingrid Gaub (Greg); her grandchildren, Landon Estep (Amanda), Layne Tyson (Heather), Alex Gaub, Nikolas Gaub, Marissa Mattox (Jeff), Erich Gidlund and Briannah Gidlund; her great grandchildren, Lillian Rose Estep and Lennon Faye Tyson; and her brother Brad Sparks (Harriett).
