Jerry Marchel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Marchel of Ellensburg, Washington, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Marchel and Madeline Marchel (Gies); and his siblings, Hugh, Eldon, Arvin, Alvretta and Glenola.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Sherry Marchel, Chris Marchel (Karolyn) and Scott Marchel (Sarah); his nephew Steve Rommel (Karen); and his sister Vivian Marchel-Johnson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and a whole assortment of nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Memorial contributions in Jerry's honor are suggested to the Kittitas Community Church.
