He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kukes and Johanna Kukes (Hofferber); and his siblings, Dick Kukes and Lillian Morrison. He is survived by: his wife Minerva "Mike"; his siblings, Ken Kukes (Mayumi) and Jane Eastham (Forrey); his sons, Dan (Gerildine), Jerry (Maureen), Ron (Laurinda) and Kelly (Nena); and also, Ellen (Sparks), Harry and Ellensburg. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.
Donations can me sent to Brookside Funeral Home, 101 E 2nd Ave, Ellensburg, WA 98926 A Memorial service will be held at First Lutheran Church on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11 a.m., at 512 N Ruby Street, followed by a luncheon.
