He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lauer and Rosemary Arnzen Lauer; his wife Shirley Nuttman; his son Roy; and his brother Wayne "Tiny" Lauer.
He is survived by: his sons, Joe of Ellensburg, Wash and Kenny of Grangeville; and his brother J. D. Lauer.
