He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Hepting and Hilda Hepting; and his brother Bill Hepting. He is survived by: his wife Janet Guebert Hepting; his children, Laurie Rasmussen (Jerry) and Dan Hepting (Savannah); his siblings, Carl Hepting (Rosalyn), Esther Hartmann (Robert) and Thomas Hepting; his grandchildren, Julie Boswell (Jake), Andy Rasmussen (Jazmine), Zach, Abby Hepting, Heaven, Harmony and Angel; and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Paisley.
