It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aurora Loukonen (Elk, Washington), who passed away on January 6, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Loukonen; her parents, Miina Laine (Sonninen) and Karl Laine; and her siblings, Florence Sinclair, Eugene Laine and Elizabeth Laine.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Laine, Diane Thomas and Karen Skoog (John); and her grandchildren, Thomas Cee (Kimberly Flemming), Benjamin Skoog (Erin), Adam Skoog (Lindsey), Joshua Skoog (Ardyn), Hanna Skoog and Miina Skoog. She is also survived by cats, and fostered several abandoned kittens, but one cat named Dolly became a special companion.
