With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Eugene Murphy (Edmonds, Washington), born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 14, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Patricia Murphy (Stillwagon) and Robert E. Murphy; and his sister Sharyn Skurska (Murphy). He is survived by: his son Sean P. Murphy (Marci DeLeon); his granddaughter Virginia DeLeon; his stepson Geno Castagnoli III; his former wife Susan Berman (Hanan); and his friend Pam Queen.
He was proud of his charity work for the SOVERN (Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts) Guild - raising money for uncompensated care at Children's Hospital and WARM (WA Adoption Reunion Movement) - reuniting families separated by adoption.
