She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Gaasland; her parents, Herman Nelson and Marie Nelson; and her siblings, Hazel Anderson, Jeanette Chittim and Arold Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Diane (Craig) of Gig Harbor, WA, Greg Gaasland of Edmonds, WA and Denise Yurecko of Vancouver, WA.; her grandchildren, Heather (Sam Scholl) of San Diego, CA, Ryan Brown (Aileen) of Oradell, NJ, Heidi Brown of San Diego, CA, Matthew Yurecko of Vancouver, WA and Michael Yurecko (Amber) of Pacific, WA.; and her great grandchildren, Riley, Reese, Regan, Lucas, Lena, Mayson and Jocelyn.
