He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence W. Schaaf and Hortense Ebeling Schaaf; his wife Gail Rittersporn; his daughters, Margot Barker, Robin Cook, Amy Massey and Julie-Annabel Bailey; and his brother Richard (Mary-Lynn). He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
