She was predeceased by: her parents, Butler "Tex" Welch and Elsie Mae Welch (Smith); her husband Robert Thygeson; her adoptive parents, Silas Kimbrough (Mary Kimbrough) and Mary Kimbrough; her stepparents, Nola Welch and Phil Harrison; and her siblings, Vonna Fischer, Gerold Welch and Loy Withrow.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Westenberg; her stepchildren, Helen Myrick, Jean Hernandez (Pete), Lee Thygeson (Barbara), Bobby Thygeson (Tonya) and Steve Thygeson; her siblings, Virginia Tipton, Wanda Sanders, Sharon Youtsey, Debbie Kramer, Norma Mack, Neta Batterson, Jerry Lynn Kimbrough, Ronnie Welch, Bobby Welch and Clay Withrow; her grandchildren, Angel Howell (Dennis), Paul Harris and Lindsey Knapp (Joe); and her stepgrandchildren, Desiree Harrison (Matthew), David Day (Georgia), Aaron Day (Karen), Chris Patchen (Dora) and Matthew Thygeson. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
