She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Monteen Barksdale and Kinard Lynn Barksdale; and her sister Janis Barksdale-Clark. She is survived by: her husband Chuck Chapton; her son Gregory Johnson; her granddaughter Chloe Johnson; her brothers, James and Jerry Barksdale; her niece Jill Malone; her great-nieces, Joslynn, Jayci and Jayden Simmons; and her nephew Andrew Barksdale. She is also survived by her family and friends.
