Doug las Bianchi Obituary

In Loving Memory of Douglas Bianchi It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas James Bianchi, 62, of East Wenatchee. Douglas was a pillar of strength, resilience, and love—whose spirit touched all those fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind a lasting legacy in the hearts of his beloved family and the countless lives he touched.

Douglas was born 11/21/1960 in Burien to Jim Francis Bianchi and Dena Marie Schorno. He is survived by his wife, Kim Bianchi; his children Brian (Amber) and four grandkids of Texas; Beau (Brooke) and three grandkids of Lake Stevens; stepdaughter Karli Fisco of Gold Bar; stepson Riley Fisco of Tennessee; his father, Jim Bianchi and his partner Brenda of Grapeview; in-laws, Bob and Anne Sterley of Snohomish; in-laws, Roland Lovestrand and his partner Ann of Yakima; and lovable companion North.

Douglas was a beacon in the community, known for his unwavering kindness, genuine heart, and relentless pursuit of the betterment of those around him. He loved people deeply and his passion for helping the next generation was unparalleled.

An entrepreneur and dreamer, Douglas created Bianchi Consulting, sharing expertise gained from 17 years with the Department of Transportation and providing training and consulting solutions for public agencies across the nation. Together with his wife Kim, Douglas also built a winery that represents free thought, collaboration, love, family, and musical expression. The uncountable late-night jam sessions on the patio, the well-played guitar on the wall, the memories of loved ones who helped create this mellifluent environment still permeating its walls. The vineyard they nurtured together is a reflection of their shared dream and has grown to become a cherished gathering place for hundreds of people in the community.

A firm believer in the cycle of strength and endurance, Douglas often said, "Strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times, and hard times then again create strong men.". This philosophy was not only a testament to his character but also a guiding principle that he instilled in his family and those close to him.

Douglas's legacy will live on through the winery he loved, the family he cherished, and the community he enriched. His spirit, embodied in the love he shared and the wisdom he imparted, will continue to inspire us.

We mourn the loss of Douglas, but we also celebrate his life and the remarkable man he was on October 21, 2023. The program will begin at 1pm (ending approx. 4pm) at his vineyard in East Wenatchee. RSVP is appreciated @ https://bianchivineyards.com. His memory will forever be a beacon of love, strength, and resilience.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
