As Melvin departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Melvin may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Melvin leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Eugene Stringham Sr. and Sylvia Vera Stoddard; his brother James "Jim" Stringham; and his wife Joyce Virginia Stringham. He is survived by: his children, Bryant Stringham (Teresa), Susan Stringham, Kelli Merrick (Jared) and Beverly Knudsen (Mike); and his brother Lonnie Stringham. He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1821 S 2nd Ave, Walla Walla, WA 99362).
