He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray James and Evelynn "Monte" James-Miller; his stepfather Bill Miller; and his stepbrother Ronald James. He is survived by: his wife Joanne of Dixie, WA; his siblings, LaMarr James of Walla Walla and Laura James of Walla Walla; his half-brother Shannon Peake of Eugene, OR; his stepdaughter Jodi Brown of Milton Freewater; and his stepgrandchildren, Dillon Brown of Nampa, ID and Kelsey Brown.
