She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Peoples and Aplonia Peoples; her husband Don Maurer; her stepgrandchild Rand; her son Steven Maurer; her daughter-in-law Ellen; her grandchildren, Sarah Raison, Jeff Maurer and Andy Maurer; her great grandchildren, Jack and Teddy Raison; her sisters, Iris Quandt and Kay Hodges; and also, Don and Rand. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and their children.
Due to Covid, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Donations can be made to Open Door Congregational Church in Deer Park.
