He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Jason Hammes (Jill) of Seneca, Traci Hammes of Rossville and Brad Hammes (Amy) of Seneca; his mother Eleanor Hammes Connell of Seneca; his siblings, Alice Trower of Ann Arbor, Doug Hammes of Seneca and Jim Hammes of Seneca; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Ashley, Isabelle, Stella and Mallory.
