It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Stockton in Dayton, Washington, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Stockton and Alice Stockton. He is survived by: his wife Leah; his children, Stan (Kathy), Dawn and Kim; his grandchildren, Ian (Ashley), Allan, Helen, Joshua and Benjamin (Erin); and his great grandchildren, Cyrus and Dekker.
He was always eager to expand upon his knowledge of science and so, during summers, he attended Nation Science Foundation seminars, "so he could learn them kids".
