It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Edna Hoglund of Darrington, Washington, born in Murphy, Idaho, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Wood and Edna Wood; her husband Verner Hoglund; her son Dennis; and her siblings, Adaline Burchard Osborne, Elmer Wood, Wayne Wood and Harvey Wood.
She is survived by: her sons, Beckie of Springfield, Ivor (Viann), Carl of Darrington, Victor (Skip) and Kaylene of Bellingham, WA; and her grandchildren, Brynn (Scott), Kyle (Heather), D. J., McArthur (Maren), MaryJill (Scott), Mandee, Scott (Tracie), Sean (Cecillia), Devin, Carrie (Chad), Lindsey and Jerica. She is also survived by 30 great grandchildren.
