With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amos Matory Jr. (Darrington, Washington), born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on September 12, 2021 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Matory Sr. and Verdell Matory; and his sister Vernell. He is survived by: his former wife Lucille Phair; his children, Maurice Phair and Rachel Matory; his siblings, Tolena and Morris; and his daughter Vickie Hawkins. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren, great grandchildren and his loving friends.
