He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. and Joanne Favel, Sr.; his siblings, Peggy Sue Favel, Joycelyn Favel, Randolph Favel and Terry Lee Favel; and his nephews, Ben Larose and Denver Buckman.
He is survived by: his grandson Josiah Koop; his siblings, Roberta Favel of Coulee Dam, WA, Robert Favel of Rocky Boy, Jackie Favel of Canada, Larry Favel (Rose) of Rocky Boy and Charlie Favel (Rose) of Canada; and his aunts, Shirley White and Val Marie Carrywater. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
