He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Pruett and Melba Pruett; and his brother Richard "Bud" Pruett. He is survived by: his wife Monica Pruett; and his children, Dustin (Candace), Nikki and Tiffany (Scott). He is also survived by five grandkids and countless family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, you can make donations to the Connell Historic Museum.

“I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of my childhood friend. Our parents were friends until the end. Unfortunately when we moved to Pasco l lost touch with my little friend. We used to play every day as l lived across the street from them. We were all of about 4 years old. If any little kids could find something to get into we could. We found Kent's Christmas presents one year and we love to swim with fish in Melbas fish pond. I see you again someday my little friend. RIP Mary Owen”
