It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jane Ellen Hilliard of Connell, Washington, who passed away at the age of 73, on May 26, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Schafer and Dorothy Schafer. She is survived by: her husband William "Tom" Hilliard; her children, Melissa Macduff (Matt), Emily Morehouse (Wade) and Jacob Hilliard (Brooke); and her brothers, Keith Schafer (Leanna), Evan Schafer (Debbie) and Reid Schafer (Beth). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Despite the Covid lockdown at her assisted living home, Jane continued to keep up with family and friends via the telephone.
