He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ritchie and Alta Ritchie (Sanders); his wife Sharon Ritchie (Ensley); his brother Jim Ritchie; and his daughter Pamela Ann Ritchie.
He is survived by: his son Dennis Ritchie; and his brother Doug Ritchie. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
