She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Thompson and Rosa Thompson (Dines); her husband Donel F. Byington; and her siblings, Arthur Thompson, Glen Thompson, Martin Thompson, Doug Thompson, Linda Petersen and Genevieve Bontrager.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Day of Colville, WA, Steven Byington (Lori) of Austin, TX and Laurie Byington of Spokane, WA; her siblings, Sharon Cox (Ed) of Colville, WA, Lynette Quinn of Colville, WA, Mary Covey of Colville, WA, Richard Thompson (Vivian) and Fred Peterson (Gloria) of Colville, WA; her grandchildren, Steven Byington Jr. (Kelsey), Tiffany Farias (Hector), Danelle Manzanares (Bret) and Torie; and her great grandchildren, Kaidance and Maddox. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
