It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thor Cebastian Bakland (College Place, Washington), who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Alice Jean Quimby Bakland; his daughters, Debra Bakland (Debra) and Julie Bakland Sugita (Eugene); his grandchildren, Tim Bakland (Andrea), Sara Bakland Ceglia, Kirsten Richter, Alyce Sugita Dart, Erik Sugita and Samantha Sugita; his great grandchildren, Riley Ceglia, Mason Ceglia, Wyatt Ceglia, Edith Camilla Bakland, Erlon Bakland and Andi Jene Dart; his brother Leif Bakland (Grete); his brother-in-law Bendel Register; his son Leif K Bakland (Stephanie); and his son-in-law Eugene Sugita. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends who are all considered family members.
