He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hales and Lola Hales; and his wife Annie King Hales. He is survived by: his children, Lavinia Hales Griesmer, Loyde Hales II and Lee Thomas Loudon; and his sister Norma Jean Hall of Pennsylvania.
