Dorothy Tanaka Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Tanaka of College Place, Washington, born in Mosier, Oregon, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Goichi Kanemasu and Hatsue Kanemasu (Fujii); her siblings, Helen Kanemasu, George Kanemasu (Tomiko), Wataru Kanemasu (Mary) and Kingo Kanemasu; her nephew Richard Kanemasu; and her niece Kelley Johnson (Kanemasu).
She is survived by: her daughter HelenKaye (Gary Price); her nieces and nephews, Edward Kanemasu (Karen), Lance Kanemasu (Sue), Wayne Kanemasu (Karen), Dani Kurtz, Nadine Huey (Sanny) and Ruth Kanemasu (Richard); and her friends, Haruo, Patty Kajita and Mary Kato. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
