It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cleo Evelyn Budd Wentland Forgey in College Place, Washington, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Budd and Josephine Budd (George Wentland); her spouse Glen Forgey; her daughter-in-law Beverly Wentland; and her siblings, Rose Ludlow, Angie Allen, Marjorie Hart, Naomi Parson, Orpheus Budd, Joe Budd and Lyle Budd.
She is survived by: her children, Lorin Wentland (Gladys) and Carolyn Denney (Marvin); her grandchildren, Joe Wentland (Deseree), Ron Wentland (Marie), Randy Wentland (Shakina), Janelle Smith (David) and Eric Denney (Erin); her sisters, Hazel Burns and Ruthie Jacobsen; and her siblings-in-law, Patsy Budd and Bill Parson. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Milton Seventh-Day Adventist Church (1244 N Elizabeth St, Milton-Freewater, OR 97862).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Adventist Disaster Relief Agency (ADRA), Upper Columbia Conference Keep, or the Milton-Stateline Adventist School.
