She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Scott and Helen Smith Scott; her former husband George Groom; her sisters, Mildred Scott, Thelma Thompson and Donna Fisher; and her daughter Connie Petit.
She is survived by: her children, Milton Groom (Karen) of Colfax, Sandra Hess, Sally Ottoson, Duane Groom (Debbie) of Tekoa and Joan. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
